Dapo Odesanya is a leading expert in financial and business consulting with a career spanning over 30 years, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Amsterdam GR. Known for his depth of expertise across multiple sectors, he specializes in Import/Export Finance, Corporate Banking, Project Finance, and Venture Capital in Emerging Markets, particularly Sino-Nigerian ventures. His skills extend to Oil and Gas Markets, specifically in Upstream, Refining, Petrochemicals, and Fertilizers, and he is also a luminary in International Business Development, involving both legal and financial dimensions.

Before his current role at Amsterdam GR, Odesanya was the Managing Partner at his own multi-sector Finance and Business Consultancy firm, Dapo Odesanya Associates. There, he placed particular emphasis on Sino-Nigerian business collaborations and start-up Oil and Gas Projects, particularly in the sectors of Downstream and Oilfield Services.

He served as a Partner and Director of Finance and Energy at Andaz Global Solutions in Beijing from March 2004 to December 2015, contributing to the firm’s specialization in Sino-African ventures across various sectors including Oil and Gas, Industrial Chemicals, Civil Construction, and Power Plants.

In a previous engagement with Amsterdam & Peroff Law Firm in Toronto, he acted as an International Business Development Consultant, establishing the firm’s presence in markets such as Nigeria, Cameroon, and China. Odesanya holds an MBA and both a BA and MA in Chemical Engineering.
